Porter

Friends and schoolmates from the Porter school and community are invited to attend a reunion at 9 a.m. Aug. 30 at the San Jon Community Center.

Registration is $12 per person. A lunch is included. A dance will be held at 7 p.m., admission is $5 per person. Music will be provided by Monte Sasser.

Porter was established in 1907. The school consolidated with San Jon School in 1955.

Alamogordo

The 1972 senior class of Alamogordo High School will hold its 36th reunion at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Sunset Run Restaurant in Alamogordo.

Meals and drinks will be available and are optional and there is no registration fee.

Class of ’72 organizers are seeking mailing addresses and e-mail addresses for former classmates.
