Dennis and Donna Luce of Fort Sumner announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, De’Ann Luce of Portales, to Chance Parsons of Portales, son of Curtis and Sandra Parsons.
The couple will exchange vows July 19, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Portales. A reception will follow at the Portales Country Club.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Fort Sumner High School and a 2006 graduate of Eastern New Mexico University.
She co-owns a retail clothing business, D’s Closet, and plans to become a teacher.
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Sargent High School in Monte Vista, Colo., and a 2006 graduate of ENMU. He owns Chance Parsons Enterprises and co-owns C&K Construction.
The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.
