Gene Smith, dean of the College of Business, recently presented a paper titled “Business School Accreditation Bodies: Beneficial or Dysfunctional?” at the 2008 International Conference of the Academic Business World.

Donald Elder III, professor of history, won two awards from the New Mexico Broadcasters Association this weekend in Albuquerque. Along with partner Kevin Robbins of KSEL-FM, he won the “DJ Personality Aircheck” for “Holidays with the Throwdown” (the “Throwdown” is their morning show). Elder also won an award for “Sports Play-by-Play” for his description of the ENMU-Panhandle State football game this past season.
