Meador

Lizette Elizabeth Meador of Clovis received her bachelor’s degree from West Texas A&M University on May 10.

She is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Meador of Clovis and the granddaughter of the late Raymond Meador and Onie Meador of Clovis and the late Alma Walker and Leon and Clara Walker of Aspermont, Texas.

South Plains Junior College

James Daniel Gonzales, Molly Bly Spencer and Christine Alicia Young, all of Clovis, were awarded an associate degree from South Plains Junior College in Levelland, Texas, during a May 9 commencement ceremony, according to a school press release.

Amanda Olivas and Christine Alicia Young, both of Clovis, received certificates of proficiency during the cermony, according to the release.

South Plains College awarded 1,083 degrees and certificates at the 50th anniversary commencement.

Limmer

David Limmer, a 2004 graduate of Clovis High School, received New Mexico Tech’s highest honor for an undergraduate at the school’s May 17 commencement ceremonies, according to a school press release.

Limmer, who earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering, was awarded the Brown Award for scholarship, leadership, and service, the release said. The faculty of New Mexico Tech selected him for the honor.

Limmer is the son of Craig and Gwen Limmer of Clovis.
