Men

Track

Raymond Radway, Abilene Chrsitian, Jr. sprinter, Mesquite, Texas — Radway won the 400 with the nation’s second-best time this spring, 46.24 seconds, in Baylor’s Michael Johnson Classic. He beat Baylor All-America Marcus Boyd (second in 46.82).

ENMU nominee

Josh Browning, Sr. sprinter — Ran 22.37 for a second-place finish in last week’s McKinley Open at Adams State. He also ran a season-best 10.83 to finish fourth in the 100.

Field

Nick Jones, Abilene Christian, Fr. thrower, Amarillo — Jones won discus (173-3) and shot put (52-8 1/4) in the Michael Johnson Classic, earning a provisional qualifying mark in shot. He has already qualified for the national meet in discus.

ENMU nominee

Kyle Harris, Sr. jumper — Placed second in triple jump at the McKinley Open, going 47-2 1/2.

Women

Track

Britney Stephens, Eastern New Mexico, Fr. sprinter, Miliani, Hawaii — Stephens placed fourth in the 100 (12.53) and fifth in the 200 (26.34), both season-best times, in the McKinley Open.

Field

Adree Lakey, Angelo State, Jr. thrower, Sylvester, Texas — Lakey won javelin competition at the Michael Johnson Open, recoring the top mark in Division II this season at 158-1. She also won hammer throw (175-8) and placed second in shot put (46-8 1/4) and discus (158-2). She has already qualified for nationals in all four events.

ENMU nominee

Deidra Brown, So. thrower — Turned in her second-best effort of the season, placing second at 127-8 in javelin at the McKinley Open.
