2-3-08 Magistrate Court

The following dispositions were filed in Roosevelt County Magistrate Court recently. According to the documents:

• Rochelle A. Pettigrew, 30, pleaded guilty to the charges of aggravated driving while under the influence of an intoxicating liquor/drugs (first offense), leaving the scene of an accident with injury/death and driving while license suspended/revoked and was ordered to serve four days in the Roosevelt County Detention Center, two years of supervised probation, must attend ASPEN program, must submit to alcohol/drug screening, must perform 24 hours of community service, must have an ignition interlock device installed on any and all motor vehicles the defendant has access to for a period of one year and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Rufina Myers, 42, pleaded no contest to the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and was ordered to serve one year of supervised probation, must attend ASPEN program, must submit to alcohol/drug screening and pay all court fines and fees.

• Daniel Ornelas, 40, pleaded guilty to the charges of aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs (second offense), stop sign violation, no drivers license and open container (second offense) and was ordered to serve eight days in the Roosevelt County Detention Center, two years of supervised probation, must attend ASPEN program, must submit to alcohol/drug screening, must complete 48 hours of community service, must have an ignition interlock device installed on any and all motor vehicles the defendant has access to for a period of two years and to pay all court fines and fees.

• James Kessler, 31, pleaded guilty to the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs (first offense) and expired registration and no insurance and was ordered to serve one year of supervised probation with conditions and must pay all court fines and fees.

• Danny Neece, 52, pleaded no contest to the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs (second offense) and open container and was ordered to serve two years of supervised probation with conditions and must pay all court fines and fees.

• Robert O’Neal, 49, was convicted on the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs (first offense), open container and no license plate light and was ordered to serve one year of supervised probation with conditions and must pay all court fines and fees.

• David Silva, 23, pleaded guilty to the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs (second offense), possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license suspended/revoked and entering roadway from private drive and was ordered to serve four days in the Roosevelt County Detention Center, two years of supervised probation with conditions and must pay all court fines and fees.
