1-20-08 District Court

The following dispositions were filed recently in Roosevelt County 9th Judicial District Court. According to the report:

• Felicia Ortega, 21, pleaded guilty to the charge of distribution of marijuana, a fourth degree felony and was ordered to serve 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Jesus Ornelas, 32, pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a fourth degree felony and was ordered to serve 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Stephanie Faas, 37, pleaded guilty to the charge of embezzlement, a fourth degree felony and was ordered to serve 12 months of supervised probation and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Jimmy Baca, 21, pleaded guilty to the charges of false imprisonment, a fourth degree felony and aggravated battery against a household member, a misdemeanor and was ordered to serve 18 months of supervised probation and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Suzanne L Marquez, 31, pleaded guilty to the charges of forgery, a fourth degree felony, driving on suspension/revocation, a misdemeanor, and larceny over $250, a fourth degree felony, and possession of heroin, a fourth degree felony. The defendant is ordered to serve one year in the department of corrections followed by four years of supervised probation and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Bobby Saiz, 37, was found guilty to the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs and driving while license suspended or revoked and was ordered to serve 364 days of supervised probation, 24 hours of community service, DWI school, completion of the ASPEN program, must place an ignition interlock device on any vehicle driven by him for one year and to pay all court fines and fees.

• Gary Johnston, 56, pleaded guilty to the charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of dangerous drugs and was ordered to serve three years of supervised probation and to pay all court fines and fees.
