Mickey and Alicia Burkett of Dora announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Linsey Burkett of Denver to Frederic Canney of Denver. He is the son of George and Caroline Canney of Moscow, Idaho.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m. March 28, 2008, at Evans Chapel on the Denver University Campus in Denver. The reception will be at the HRTM Building on the DU campus.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Johnson and Wales University of Denver. She is employed at Camden Properties in Denver.
The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Denver University. He is employed at Newmont Mining of Denver.
