Notes: The Bulldogs, who are 7-0 at home, were ranked eighth in NCAA Division II going into last week. They’ve gone 4-1 in LSC crossover games against the South Division, losing only at Abilene Christian 87-66 on Thursday. … Southwestern’s other loss was at Fort Hays State (Kan.) 54-51. … Three of the Bulldogs’ wins have come in overtime, including two on the road. … Nate Perry, a 6-foot-5 senior F, is the reigning North player of the week and leads the team in scoring (16.8 ppg) and rebounding (8.4 rpg). He’s shooting just under 60 percent from the field. Others scoring in double figures are 6-4 senior F Trevor Guy (12.7) and 6-3 junior G Clarke Hale (12.2). … The Bulldogs, coached by former Wayland Baptist coach Todd Thurman, have beaten ENMU five times in a row, including 80-65 last season at Greyhound Arena.
