Cannon airman found dead
An airman assigned to Cannon Air Force Base was found dead Saturday in his residence in Clovis, a news release said.
Phone calls to Cannon were not answered Saturday night.
Clovis Police Chief Dan Blair said officers received the call at 12:34 p.m. to an address on Colonial Parkway. The body was sent to the Office of the Medical Investigator, he said, and the death is not being investigated as suspicious.
The news release from Cannon said the cause of death is under investigation, and more information will be released pending notification of next of kin.
