Frank and Ava Hamar of Plano, Texas celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 12 with family.

The will continue the celebration with a trip to Disney World with their children and grandchildren.

The couple was married Dec. 12, 1957 in Rogers. They both graduated from Portales High School.

They have two children and four grandchildren.
