12-2 Magistrate Court Dispositions

The following dispositions were recently filed in the Roosevelt County Magistrate Court:

• Joe M. Dominguez, 34, pleaded guilty to the charges of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs (1st offense) and stop sign violation, was ordered to serve one year supervised probation, attend the ASPEN Program, complete 48 hours of community service, have an ignition interlock device installed on any and all vehicles for a period of one year and pay court fees and fines.

• Barbara Kepner, 52, pleaded guilty to the charge shoplifting less than $250, was ordered to pay $67 in fines.

• Jesus Soto, 19, pleaded no contest to the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, and was ordered to serve 364 days supervised probation, attend the ASPEN Program and pay court fees and fines.

• Melissa Gaitan, 27, pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated battery, was ordered to 182 days supervised probation, attend the ASPEN Program, enter into and successfully complete a course of counseling aimed at addressing anger management issues and pay court fees and fines.

• Lionel Shorty, 19, pleaded no contest to the charges of aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs (1st offense), open container, was ordered to serve two days in the Roosevelt County Detention Center, one year supervised probation, attend the ASPEN Program, complete DWI School, have an ignition interlock device installed on any and all vehicles for a period of one year, complete 48 hours of community service and pay court fees and fines.

• William Briseno, 18, pleaded guilty to the charge of criminal sexual contact, was ordered to serve 364 days supervised probation, attend the ASPEN Program and pay court fees and fines.

• Richard Bewley, 24, pleaded guilty to the charges of possession of marijuana less than one ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, was ordered to pay $464 in court fees and fines.

• Kristen Sydnor, 18, pleaded guilty to the charges of battery, was ordered to serve six months unsupervised probation and pay court fees and fines.

• Clay Loya, 24, pleaded no contest to the charge of aggravated driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs (1st offense) stop sign violation, no license plate light, was ordered to serve 48 hours in the Roosevelt County Detention Center, one year supervised probation, attend the ASPEN Program, complete DWI School, have an ignition interlock device installed on any and all vehicles for a period of one year, complete 24 hours of community service, and pay court fees and fines.
