David and Ginny Olmstead of Decatur, Texas, and Karilyn Olmstead of Edgewood announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Karen Olmstead of Clovis to Daniel Loper of Clovis.
He is the son of Tami and Kevin Lee of Las Vegas, Nev., and Dan Loper of Clovis.
The couple will exchange vows at 4 p.m. Oct. 27, 2007, at the Arch Baptist Church. The reception will be at the Clovis Civic Center.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Portales High School. She is a full-time student at Eastern New Mexico University.
The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Texas Tech University. He is employed at Nutrition Physiology Corp.
The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.
