Dozier scores twice in Eastern win

Hannah Dozier scored twice, leading Eastern New Mexico University past New Mexico Highlands 2-1 in a women’s soccer match Friday in Portales.

Both of Dozier’s goals came in the second half as ENMU (1-2) picked up its first win of the season.

Adrianna Calderon scored in the final minute for Highlands (1-2).

Stephanie Sanchez recored nine saves for the Zias.

Kimberly Anaya and Samantha Lawrence picked up assists for the Zias.

The Zias host St. Mary’s at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
