TULSA, Okla. — Eastern New Mexico University women’s tennis team dropped a pair of duals on Friday, falling to East Central 7-2 and Washburn 6-3.
Freshman Sarah McAfee was involved in both wins against East Central, beating the Lady Tigers’ Alyssa O’Neal 6-0, 6-0 in singles and teaming with Tracy Hughes for a 8-1 victory in doubles competition.
The only on-court win for the Zias (2-3) against Washburn came from freshman Alex Taylor, who beat Lauren Harris 5-7, 6-4 (10-5) at No. 4 singles. The other two wins came by default.
