ENMU presents concert

The Eastern New Mexico University symphonic band and choirs will perform two holiday concerts Friday at the University Theatre Center.

The performances also feature guest harpist Cameron Huster from New York City, who will be accompanying the choirs.

“It will be a great event for everyone,” said Jason Paulk, assistant professor of music and conductor of the choirs.

The Wind Symphony, conducted by Dustin Seifert, will perform Festive Fanfare for the Holidays by James Curnow.

“There are some standard pieces such as ‘Sleigh Ride.’ The songs are very festive,” Seifert said.

Junior Chris Mondragon is in his third year with the symphonic band.

“I am looking forward to seeing all the people come together to enjoy the holiday season,” Mondragon said.

The University Singers will perform a variety of carols, including “Ring-a the News” and “No Longer a Baby.”
