Man arrested, charged with stabbing

A 36-year-old Clovis man was arrested Thursday and charged with stabbing another man during a fight, according to police.

Teodulo Sanchez is charged with aggravated battery and is being held at the Curry County Adult Detention Center on a $10,000 cash bond, officials said.

Carlos Fernandez, 29, suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound to the abdomen, police said.

Around 10 p.m. officers were dispatched to a home in the 800 block of West Fifth St. in Clovis for an injured subject. They found Fernandez on a couch inside the residence bleeding from the abdomen, the police report said.
