Fort Sumner routs NMMI in opener

FORT SUMNER — Ryan Hall passed for one touchdown and ran for another on Friday, helping Fort Sumner open its season with a 35-0 win over New Mexico Military Institute.

Braeden Dimitroff added 92 yards rushing and scored a touchdown for the defending Class 1A state champions.

The Foxes held the Class 3A Colts to 63 total yards and forced three turnovers.
