Bertram, Marye F.

Marye Frances Bertram, 69, of Floresville, Texas, died Saturday, June 3, 2006, in Floresville, Texas.

She was born April 22, 1937, in Santa Fe to Paul and Inez Hopper.

Family members said she loved to embroider and cook. She cooked for the Grady Schools long ago. She loved to drink tea or coffee and gossip with her close friends Mildred Mote and Jesse Whitehead, her family said.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bud Bertram; and daughter, Elaine Bertram.

Survivors include two sisters, Billie Coffee of Albuquerque and Margaret Shear of Moriarty; brother, Jim Hopper of Moriarty; two daughters, Deborah A. Jackson (and husband, Jimmie) of Arlington, Texas, and Kimberly D. Stevens of Floresville, Texas; three sons, Daniel E. Bertram (HeyYoung) of Kempner, Texas, David A. Bertram (T.J.) of Floresville, Texas, and Timothy B. Bertram (Kyna) of Bulverde, Texas; grandsons, Aaron (Samantha), Johnny Jr., Nick, Thomas Mitcham Jr. (Katie) and David Mitcham; granddaughters, RaDonna, Rochelle (Carlos), Jessica, Morgan, Crystal Elliott (Mike); great-granddaughters, Hailey, Jeannette and Justine; and great-grandsons, Clayton, Taylor and Ethan.

The Rev. Wayne Boydstun will officiate.

Burial will be at Grady Cemetery in Grady.

Pallbearers will be Donald Boydstun, Nick Bertram, Aaron Jackson, Johnny Stevens, Jess Whitehead, Daniel Bertram, David Bertram and Tim Bertram.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hobert Mote, Jerry Shear, D. H. Allen, Wesley Jones, Bill Jones, and many friends and family members.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
