Dale, Lora

Lora Dale, 87, of Muleshoe died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at Muleshoe Area Medical Center.

Born Oct. 20, 1918, in Eric, Okla., she married Roland Deweet Dale in Eric on Feb. 13, 1937. She and her family moved from Eric to the Muleshoe community on Jan. 1, 1949. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church of Muleshoe.

Family members said church and her family were her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Survivors include three sons, Cyrus Dale (and wife, Eva Nell) of Muleshoe, Donald Dale (Anita) of Clovis and Gilbert Dale (Debbie) of Hugo, Okla.; two daughters, Yaunda Martin (Bill) of Lariat, Texas, and Brenda Conner (Vernon) of Christoval, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Jack Stone will officiate services.

Burial will take place at Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery.
