Marcella Eva Ulibarri, 76, of Clovis died Friday, April 21, 2006, at Plains Regional Medical Center.

Born June 17, 1929, in San Ignacio to Juan Pablo and Annie Madrid, she married Orlando Ulibarri on Aug. 18, 1952, in Santa Rosa. She had been a Clovis resident since 1966, when she moved from Santa Rosa. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved all of her family and helped them in times of need, family members said. They said she was a friend to everyone and helped everyone she met. She was a member of the Church of God in Prophecy in Clovis. She was a lady of great faith who loved to help at her church in many ways, according to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Gloria Madrid; and a brother, Horacio Madrid.

She is survived by her husband of the home; a son, Orlando Jr. (and wife, Margaret) of Clovis; two daughters, Gloria Moncayo (Tony) of Clovis, and Dorothy Ulibarri of Clovis; a brother, Rudy Madrid of Westminster, Colo.; two nieces, Mary Jane Chavez and Margaret Rodriguez, both of Clovis; seven grandchildren, Stephanie Sena (David), Erika Ulibarri Cavazos, Alyssa Moncayo, Devin Winn, Jordan Chavez, and Alex and Jazlyn Ulibarri; three great-grandchildren, Joshua Moncayo, Isaiah Cavazos and Noel Sena; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pastor Tim Barber will officiate services. Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Chavez, Teddy Martinez, Jeff Rodarte, Rueben Ulibarri, Alfonso Rodriguez and Zachary Velasquez.

Her grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.
