Olivares, Jennifer “Jenny”

Jennifer Marie “Jenny” Olivares, 22, of Clovis, died Monday, April 10, 2006, in Progress, Texas.

She was born April 17, 1983, to Freddy and Ernestine Mandonado Olivares in Clovis.

She was a Clovis resident and lived in Phoenix for a year. She was a homemaker and loved her children, her family and her fiancé, family members said.

Her son Alejandro Lomas Jr. died April 10, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jose and Tomasa Olivares, and her uncle, Manuel Olivares.

She is survived by a son, Manuel Alonso Olivares; her fiancé, Alonso “Guero” Gasteum of Clovis; her parents; a sister, Lorina Gonzales (and husband, Jimmy) of Clovis; her grandparents, Juan and Epifania Torres of Roswell; numerous uncles and aunts; a nephew, and a niece.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the Muffley Chapel. Deacon Daniel Chavez will officiate services.

Pallbearers will be Valerie Cortez, Joann Anchondo, Lucia Garcia, Olga Castillo, Sandra Valdez and Mara Cecelic.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Gonzales and all her friends.

The family suggests memorials to Bank of America in the name of Jennifer Olivares and A.J. Lomas Jr. for funeral expenses.
