3/19 Court dispositions

The following criminal dispositions were recently filed in the 9th Judicial District Court:

• Brenda Marie Green, 44, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, is adjudged to be a habitual offender, and is ordered to serve four years imprisonment and pay all fines and fees. She will receive credit for three years, one month and 19 days.

• Renee Pena, 29, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, is adjudged to be a habitual offender, and is ordered to serve one year six months imprisonment followed by one year six months supervised probation and pay all fines and fees. Credit was given for one year six months.

• Delores Ortiz, 51, pleaded guilty to larceny (valued at $2,500 to $25,000), breaking and entering, and is ordered to serve 18 months imprisonment followed by 18 months supervised probation and pay all fines and fees. The sentence of imprisonment was suspended.

• Demitrio Salas, 20, pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated (refusing chemical testing, first offense) and is ordered to serve 90 days imprisonment and pay all fines and fees.

• Daniel C. Vicuna, 27, pleaded guilty to breaking and entering, larceny (valued at $250 to $2,500), is adjudged to be a habitual offender, and is ordered to serve 18 months imprisonment followed and pay all fines and fees. He will receive credit for 45 days towards his sentence of imprisonment.

• Kevin Russell, 20, pleaded guilty to armed robbery with a deadly weapon and is ordered to serve nine years imprisonment followed by one year supervised probation and pay all fines and fees. He will receive credit for three years six months and 14 days against his sentence.

• Robert Spadt, 38, pleaded guilty to aggravated driving while intoxicated (second offense) and is ordered to serve one year less one day imprisonment followed by one year less one week supervised probation, pay all fines and fees, have an ignition interlock device placed on any vehicle he may drive. He will receive credit for one year less one week of time served.

• Timothy L. Walton, 46, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of liquor or drugs (first offense), great bodily injury by vehicle (DWI) and is ordered to serve three years imprisonment and pay all fines and fees. He will receive credit for one month and two days time served against his sentence.

• Kenneth L. Mills, 27, pleaded guilty to bribery of a witness (intimidate/threaten/bribe), attempted injury to a pregnant woman, and is ordered to serve 18 months imprisonment and pay all fines and fees. He will receive credit for one year, six months and seven days served.

• Mary Jane Finnell, 50, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and is ordered to serve 18 months imprisonment followed by 18 months supervised probation and pay all fines and fees. Her sentence of imprisonment was suspended.

• Alton P. Smith, 37, pleaded guilty to burglary (commercial property or automobile), possession of burglary tools, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal damage to property (less than $1,000), is adjudged to be a habitual offender and is ordered to serve eight years imprisonment and pay all fines and fees.

• Nick A. Trujillo, 32, pleaded guilty aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (two counts), aggravated battery against a household member, is adjudged to be a habitual offender and is ordered to serve 18 months imprisonment and pay all fines and fees. He will receive credit for four months 13 days served.

• Richard K. Carlisle, 48, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, extreme cruelty to animals, criminal damage to property (value more than $1,000), driving under the influence of liquor or drugs (second offense), consuming/possessing an open container of alcoholic beverage, negligent use of a deadly weapon, failure to give information and render aid, failure to carry proof of financial responsibility, driving without a license, and is ordered to serve 18 months imprisonment followed by 18 months supervised probation, allow an ignition interlock device to be installed on any vehicle he may drive and pay all fines and fees. He will receive credit for one year less one day served against his sentence. The remainder of his sentence was suspended.
