Wallace, Billy

Billy R. Wallace, 75, of Alamogordo, died Sunday, March 12, 2006.

Born Aug. 15, 1930, in Fort Sumner to Ross and Ruby Wallace, he was the hospital plant manager at Holloman Air Force Base before his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, secretary of the Alamogordo Bowling Association and a board member of the New Mexico Men's State Bowling Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wilma Patrick; a brother, Bobby Wallace; and a granddaughter, Shari Patrick.

He is survived by his wife, Adlea Wallace; a son, Billy Wallace (and wife, Linda) of Hobbs; a son-in-law, Robert Patrick of Alamogordo; three grandsons, Brian R. Patrick (Carolyn) of El Paso, Texas, Terry G. Patrick (Sarah) of Tucson, and Mark Wallace of Hobbs; two granddaughters, Marci Innerhofer (Jason) of Albuquerque, and Kari Leigh Wallace of Hobbs; two great-grandsons, Eric and Jonathan Rueda of El Paso; a great-granddaughter, Bailey Patrick of El Paso; a sister-in-law, Nina Kirchmeier of Alamogordo; and a brother-in-law, Creston Snider (Celina) of Clovis.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Hamilton-O’Dell Funeral Home in Alamogordo. The Rev. Dick Harnett and the Rev. Gary Misener will officiate services. Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo.
