Clovis agent earns new title from Allstate

Michael Reyna of Clovis has earned the Allstate personal financial representative title after passing securities license exams and completing an extensive Allstate training curriculum, according to an Allstate news release.

As a personal financial representative, Reyna is able to offer variable universal life insurance, annuities and mutual funds, in addition to auto, homeowner and traditional life insurance.

He has been an Allstate agent for 16 years, according to the news release.

Logan man gains Cattle Growers award

Jim Payne of Logan was named the 2005 New Mexico Cattle Growers Association (NMCGA) Livestock Inspector of the Year, according to an NMCGA news release.

The first deputy inspector to receive the award, Payne earned the honor for outstanding service to the livestock industry, the news release said.

NMCGA annually recognizes an inspector employed by the New Mexico Livestock Board. The award was sponsored by the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Wildlife Services, of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Fort Collins, Colo.
