Cody and Mikie Choate of Alamogordo announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Bohannan of Clovis, to Brian Abel of Rockport, Texas.
He is the son of Bill Abel of Ingleside, Texas, and Janice Batye of St. Louis, Mo.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 p.m. March 4 at Parkland Baptist Church.
The reception will be at Parkland Baptist Fellowship Hall.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Clovis High School
The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of Rockport-Fulton High School.
He is employed at Cannon Air Force Base.
The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.
