Student profile: Stuart Pettigrew

Stuart W. Pettigrew is a senior at Clovis High School. He is the son of Douglas and Sherry Pettigrew.

What’s your idea of a perfect day? No homework, no school, and not working and just practicing my trumpet.

If money were no object, what would you do to make the world a better place? Teach people about music.

If I could do anything, I would... take an all-paid vacation for the rest of my life.

What is your most prized possession? My trumpet.

Offices held: Section leader of the Clovis High School trumpet section

Honors received: All-District Honor Band (five years), All-State Band (three years), Southwest Honor Band (three years), All-State Jazz Band (two years)

School activities: Band

Church/community activities: I attend First Church of the Nazarene

Hobbies: Clovis High School Symphonic Band and Jazz Band

Future plans: Go to college and double major in music education and performance.
