Scarborough, Dorothy B.

Dorothy Bernice Scarborough, 83, died on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2006, in Prescott, Ariz.

She was one of five children born to John and Beatrice Peters in Carnegie, Okla., on Dec. 18, 1922.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy J. Scarborough, and her friend, Kenneth Kerr.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Flynn of Prescott, Ariz., and her two sons, Larry Scarborough of Bandon, Ore., and Dr. Terry Scarborough of Houston. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She had recently moved to Prescott, Ariz., from Clovis, where she had been a resident for more than 65 years. Family members said she dedicated her life to being a good wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A private service will be held at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
