Fallwell, Margie

Margie L. Mars Fallwell, 81, of Friona died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, in Clovis.

She was born Jan. 10, 1925, in Kress, Texas, to James Quillan and Gladys Myrtle Holt Mars. She married Artis Fallwell on Aug. 16, 1945, in Clovis.

She worked as a dental assistant for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Rebecca Lodge. She had lived in Friona since 1941, moving from Lazbuddie, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Marston “Johnny” Mars.

She is survived by a son, Michael Fallwell of Dexter; two daughters, Rhonda Field of Friona and Connie Kelly of Clovis; a sister, Willa White of Corpus Christi, Texas; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

The Revs. Steve Patterson, Mark Stovall and Don Kimbrough will be officiating.

Burial will be in the Friona Cemetery.

Arraignments are by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.
