Sears, Mary

Mary Maxine Sears, 80, of Clovis died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at Laurel Plains Healthcare Center.

She was born Nov. 18, 1925, in Knoxville, Tenn., to Francis Bert and Mary Herrall Allen. She married Leo Sears, and after his death, Robert Adams in 1943 in Clovis. She was a homemaker, enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; a brother, Fred Allen, three sisters, Birdie Adcock, Ora Bell Graham and Bonnie Herrall.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Bryan (and husband, Olen) of Clovis; three sons, Charles Adams (Marilyn) of Texico and Gary Robinson and Cory Sears (Lisa), all of Clovis; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Cremation will take place.
