Violet Brown

Mrs. Violet Mae Brown, 89, of Carrollton, Texas, and formerly of Clovis, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at the Medical Center of Plano in Plano, Texas.

She was born June 21, 1916, in Camargo, Okla., to Roy and Nellie Tuck. She married Eugene W. Brown on June 10, 1933, in Woodward, Okla.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a sister, Daisy Bishop.

She is survived by a daughter, Odelsa J. Hodges of Rockdale, Texas; two sons, Bob W. Brown of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Jim L. Brown of Carrollton, Texas; a sister, Norma Lee Baker of Camargo, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Sam Kelley will officiate at services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
