• There will be no school Monday for Martin Luther King day.

• Jan. 27 will be basketball homecoming.

• The sophomores will be taking the New Mexico High School Competency Exam on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week.

1st Grade News

Tana Haller’s first grade class all made 100 percent on their spelling tests the first week of January. They will be learning about Martin Luther King Jr. this week, and next week will be celebrating their 100th day of school. They are also starting an extra reading project called “Our Class is Reading to Help”. If their class reads 100 books by Feb. 17, Scholastic will donate 100 books to the kids who lost all of their books in Hurricane Katrina.
