Samplings of recent calls received by Clovis-area law enforcement officers, according to reports:

At 7 a.m. on Friday, police responded to the 500 block of Georgia Street in reference to a vehicle burglary. A man told police someone removed the CD face and stuck a key into the ignition of the vehicle belonging to his cousin.

At 8:30 p.m. on Friday, police went to the 900 block of Gamma Street regarding a car stolen in front of a business on the 1200 block of Seventh Street. The owner of the vehicle said she went a few feet from the front of the car and left the door open and engine running, then saw an unknown man drive off. The victim told police the suspect drives an older white Cadillac.

At 5 p.m. on Friday, a man was served a warrant for a burglary on the 800 block of Mitchell, while he was already incarcerated and appearing in court on other charges.

At 11 p.m. on Friday, police responded to the 100 block of Dawn Loop Street regarding homicidal threats made to a pregnant 19-year old woman by the father of her unborn baby. The woman told police her boyfriend said he was going to shoot her and he previously shot her once in the foot. Police recommended she seek social help and attain a restraining order.
