Maxine Flud Hess

Maxine Flud Hess died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2005, in Prescott Valley, Ariz.

She was born Feb. 14, 1922, in Oklahoma to Walter and Minnie Flud.

After marrying Woodie Dickerson, she became resident of Clovis. She lived in Clovis from 1937 until 1990, when she moved to Prescott Valley, Ariz. She was a businesswoman in Clovis for more than 25 years.

Family members said she was a wonderful mother, wife and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Wilma Hodges and Glenda Thompson (and husband, Paul); two grandchildren, Mike Hodges (Stacie) and Teppi Cantin; three great-grandchildren, Ashley and Justin Hodges and Chloe Cantin; two sisters, Trixie Berry (Lowell) and Lois Haase, all of California; and two sisters-in-law, Oleda and Mary Flud; and many nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are by Sunrise Mortuary in Prescott Valley, Ariz.
