Beverly Bullock

Services: 2 p.m. today at Vista Memory Gardens Cemetery in Caballo.

Beverly Ann Bullock, 73, of Caballo, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at her home.

She was born Oct. 7, 1932, in Gotebo, Okla.

She worked as a hospital administrator and banking clerk early in her marriage. She later worked in home businesses, including an upholstery shop and an antique store. She lived in Portales and Gallup for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Bill Bullock; two sons, Pat Bullock (and wife, Shannon) and David Bullock (Kelly); six grandchildren, Charla Stilling, Paul and Chad Bullock, Shawn Moksvold and Jeremy and Christina Groves; four great-grandchildren, Erika, Ember and Jakob Robbins and Adam Bullock; six great-great-grandchildren, Jessica Bullock, Joshua and Emily Groves, Jerico and Fallon DuPuy and Koury Moksvold.

David and Pat Bullock are officiating.

Arrangements are by Kirikos Family Funeral Home of Truth and Consequences.

Christopher Leal

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel

Christopher Leal, 36, of Abilene, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas.

He was born Jan. 21, 1969, in Friona to Benita (Lopez) and Joe Leal.

He attended Portales public schools since the third grade and graduated from Portales High School in 1986. He moved to Abilene in 1999 and was employed by Goodwill Industries in Abilene in 2002.

He enjoyed watching movies and television and was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, family members said.

He is survived by his mother, Benita Jimenez of Abilene, his father, Joe Leal Sr. (and step-mother, Louisa) of Harlingen, Texas; two brothers: Joe Leal Jr. and Elijio Leal, both of Harlingen; two sisters: Retta Garcia (and husband, Steve) of Abilene and Irma Hernandez of Harlingen; and aunts and uncles in Portales.

Pastor David Gomez will officiate services.

Burial is at Portales Cemetery.

A rosary is being held at 7 p.m. today at Wheeler Mortuary Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Orlando and David Martinez, Victor Leal, Alex Escobar, Frank Lopez Jr. and Victor Garcia

Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Jr. and Elijio Leal, Anselmo, Roger, Manuel Jr. and Frank Lopez Sr.
