Maxine Martin Polk, 86, of Lovington, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, in Lovington.
She was born June 16, 1919 in Garrison. She married Richard Beecher Martin Nov. 14, 1936 in Portales. He preceded her in death in 1967. She was also married to T.M. Polk, also preceding her in death.
She was a member of 3rd and Central Church of Christ, VFW Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Don Martin; brother, Joe Duane Swafford; and sister, June Ellen Swafford.
Survivors include daughter, Janis Noack (and husband Freddy) of Lovington; son, Buster Martin of Lovington; three sisters, Charlene Weigle of Amarillo, Texas, Joyce Fraze of Portales and Naida Taylor of Portales; grandchildren, Shasta Noack-Cammack of Lovington, Jason Noack of Lovington, Todd Martin of Lovington and Coy Don Martin of Clovis; grandson-in-law, Newton Cammack of Lovington; and great-grandchildren, Dominic Noack of Lovington, Cam Martin of Hobbs, Tannah Martin of Hobbs and Zoey Cammack of Dumas, Texas.
Jack Aduddell will officiate.
