Davalos, Josie

Josie Marez Davalos, 75, of Clovis, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.

She was born June 24, 1930, to Raymond and Mary Romero Marez in Colonias. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a son, Richard Davalos of Clovis; two daughters, Erlinda Martinez Bryant (and husband, Randy) of Clovis and Jo Anne Davalos of Dallas; two brothers, Steve Marez of Casper, Mo., and Jimmy Marez of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Garmen Duran of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Sally Ritlzer of Nebraska.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Father Sotero Sena will officiate services.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home in Clovis.
