Julie Marie Hobbs of Portales and AJay Joseph Andrade of Portales, were joined in marriage July 23, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Portales. The Rev. Mark Butler performed the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Derald and Vickie Hobbs of Portales. She is the granddaughter of Elvin Hobbs and Pearl Green and Billy and Joyce Price, all of Portales.

The bridegroom is the son of Andy and Janet Andrade of Portales. He is the grandson of Irene and Andres Andrade and Onita and Leonard Harrison all of Roswell.

Maid of honor was Chelsey East. Bridesmaids were Shari McCarty, Jenn Spotswood, Jennie Gentry, Kim Jones, Felicia Pena and Ashley Hobbs.

Bestman was Justin Massey. Groomsmen were Stephen Smith, Timon Anderson, Thomas Elwell, Chase Jewel, Robert Crow and Jeremy Andrade.

Ushers were Justin Hall and Jeffrey Swinford. Flowergirl was Brenna Bates, ring bearer was Alex Vega and candle lighter was Michelle Hobbs.

The couple will reside in Camp Pendleton, Calif.
