10/16 Court Dispositions

The following criminal dispositions were filed in the 9th Judicial District Court between Sept. 28 and Oct. 5:

• Elias Chaves, 29, pleaded guilty to aggravated fleeing from a law enforcement officer, to resisting, evading or obstruction of an officer and to possession of marijuana (1 ounce or less). He was ordered to serve probation.

• Patrick Lopez, 23, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (felony). He was ordered to serve 18 months of probation and to pay $80 in laboratory and treatment fees.

• James E. Gooden, 51, pleaded guilty to aggravated battery. He was adjudged to be a habitual offender. He was ordered to serve one year less 22 days in prison and to pay a $100 fee for DNA identification.

• Juhari D. Pleasant, 27, pleaded guilty to distribution of a controlled substance (four counts). He was ordered to serve six months in prison, two years and six months of probation and to pay a $100 fee for DNA identification.

• Ray B. Kosier, 25, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute (second count). He was ordered to serve three years of probation and to pay a $100 fee for DNA identification.

• Paul E. Bennett, 47, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and to negligent use of a deadly weapon. He was ordered to serve 11 months, 29 days of supervised probation and to pay a $5 treatment fee.

• Charlene A. Dillinger, 26, pleaded guilty to forgery (four counts), fraudulent transfer/receipt of a credit card (four counts), and fraudulent use of a credit card without consent (four counts). She was ordered to serve five years of supervised probation.
