Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Richard Salomon Salas, 40, of Clovis, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 10, 1965, in Clovis to Jose Guadalupe and Alice Sena Salas.

He was a contractor who specialized in Southwest design. He was a member of Son of the Legionnaires and American Legion Post 25.

Family members said he enjoyed spending time with his friends, and family, and working with wood.

He is preceded in death by his father and a brother, Reyes Medina.

Survivors include his mother, who lives in Portales; four sisters, Patricia Mondragon (and husband, Steve) of Clovis, Esther Dorado (Bobby) of Alamogordo, Clara Pelland of Carlsbad and Nana Villa (Raymond) of Clovis; three brothers, Larry Medina of Clovis, Alfred Medina (Margie Theresa) of Carlsbad and Antonio Medina (Julie) Clovis; a companion, Mabel Lucero of Clovis; a niece, Stephanie Blumer of Clovis; a nephew, Nick Mondragon of Clovis; and many friends and relatives.

Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Father Carlos Chavez will officiate the services.

Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories.

Pallbearers will be Antonio Medina, Alfred Medina, Lorenzo Medina, Arthur Rubio, Wilfred Salas and Greg Skaggs.

Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, friends, nieces, Adam Salas, Brandon Sisneros and Jose G. Medina.

Arrangements are by Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis.
