Bobbie L Collins, 68, of Tucumcari, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005.

He was born on Sept. 24, 1936, in Clovis. He attended his first year of school in Clovis and later moved to Grady with his family. He graduated from Grady High School in 1954. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He served his country in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert J. Collins; and a brother, Derrill B. Collins.

Survivors include his mother, Nina Joe Collins of Tucumcari; three sons, Terry Collins (and wife, Barbara) of Hedley, Texas, Kevin Collins (Christine) of Kaplan, La., and Shannon Collins (Shellie) of Blanchard, Okla.; a daughter, Diane Clayton of Roswell; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Bill and Jerry Powell will officiate the services.

Pallbearers are Jerry Powell, Jack, Wayne, and Jerry Collins, Tom Anderson, and Bob Davis.

Burial will be at noon Saturday in Grady Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
