House/Johnson

Sandi House of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of her daughter, Michele Leigh House of Hobbs, to Gary Michael Johnson, of Hobbs, son of James and Mary Gallegos of Clovis.

The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. on Sept. 10, 2005, at the Sunken Gardens in Hillcrest Park.

The reception will be at the Clovis Inn conference room.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Clovis High School and a 2004 graduate of Clovis Community College.

She is employed at Lea Community Federal Credit Union.

The prospective groom is a 1998 graduate of Clovis High School.

He is employed at Schlumberger Technologies.

The ceremony and reception are open to friends and relatives.

Tredway/Neumeister

Johnny and Fern Tredway of Clovis announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jonie Earlene Tredway of Clovis, to Jason Miguel Neumeister, of Cottonwood, Calif., son of Michael and Cathy Neumeister of Cottonwood, Calif.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 26, 2005, at 1326-A Rose Drive in Clovis.

The reception will follow the ceremony.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Grady High School.

She is employed at ENMRSH.

The prospective groom is a 2002 graduate of West Valley High School in Cottonwood, Calif.

He is enlisted in the United States Air Force.

Club Notes

Plains Regional Medical Center Auxiliary

PRMC Auxiliary held their general membership meeting recently in the hospital cafeteria with 40 members present. Reports were given by the committee Chairmen. Guest speaker was Michelle Wageman of Share.

Paula Johnston-NMHHSA, treasurer spoke to the membership regarding the state convention to be held in Bernalillo on Sept. 10-20, asking as many as possible to attend. She informed the group of proposals and changes in the state by-laws. President Celina Snider presented to Lala Barnes and Emily Pearson gold stars, auxilians for the months of June and July. She announced that Harold Fechter was voted auxilian of the year.

Pilot Club of Clovis

The Pilot Club of Clovis met for the installation of officers on Monday at the home of President, Dorothy Baldock. There were 10 members present and four co-pilots. Molly Stansell presided over the installation of officers: Dorothy Baldock, president; Charlene McLain, president-elect; Janet Barnhart, treasurer, and Gayle Telshaw, secretary. Directors are Sue Rutter, Susie Hatley and Sylvia Compton. Immediately following installation lunch was served. The 2005-2006 work planning session began. Projects were voted on and approved. Darlene Rose presented a request for a buy-out of Lifeline. The Club will be having a “bike-safety” course and giving out bike helmets in exchange for three cans of food for the Food Bank. There was no business meeting in July.
