David G. “Uncle-Tio” Molina, 67, of Nogales, Ariz., died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Kindrad Hospital in Tuscon, Ariz.

He was born on Dec. 28, 1937, in Clovis, to Frank and Amalia Tenorio Molina.

He was a journalist who worked at Clovis News Journal and Nogales International newspaper. He was a member of member of Our Lady of Guadalupe, AMVETS, and Ethnic Culture Community.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Gregorina Chavez; and a grandson, David Sanchez.

Survivors include a son, David Molina (and wife, Angie) of Houston; two daughters, Marissa Sanchez (David) of Houston and Donna Pinenda of Houston; two brothers, Juan Molina (Julia) of Clovis and Carlos Molina of Clovis; a sister, Lucia Molina Garza of Clovis; and six grandchildren.

A rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Clovis.

Father Sotero Sena will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Gary Mitchell, Robert Telles, Ray and Horacio Gonzales, Luis Lucero, Carlos Molina Jr., J.J. Gomez and Mario Valinto-Martinez.

Honorary pallbearers are employees of Clovis News Journal and Nogales International.
