Mr. LaRoy Lockmiller, 64, of Clovis, died Sunday, June 19, 2005, in Curry County.

He was born on Oct. 5, 1940, in Clovis, to Sam Otha “Tootie” and Pauline Lockmiller.

He married Deanna Ritchey on Sept. 15, 1962, in Juarez, Mexico. He was a Ranchvale resident all of his life where he farmed the land that had been owned by his family for generations. He was a member of Ranchvale Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Tell Northcutt.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Brett Lockmiller (and wife, Lori) of Clovis; two daughters, Tammy Northcutt (and husband, Todd) of Broadview and Shelly Farris (Tim) of Nazareth, Texas; a sister, Kayren Richardson (Jerry) of Alexandria, La.; 12 grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Herbert Bergstrom will officiate the services with the Rev. Greg Martin assisting.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Tyrell, Tucker and Tori Northcutt, Corbin, Brendon, Tristan and Aaron Lockmiller, Brendon Lockmiller, and Trey, Hanna, Tate, Halle and Trew Farris.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tell Northcutt Scholarship Fund in care of People’s Bank Box 309 Nazareth, Texas 79036.
