James and Suse Townsend of Melrose announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Danielle L. Townsend to Adam M. Kusmak, son of Michael and Carmen Kusmak, all of Tularosa.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Northwester Oklahoma State University who is employed at Alamogordo Public Schools.

The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of New Mexico State University who is employed at Tradoc Analysis Center at White Sands Missile Range.
