Pauline Maria Spahr, 68, of Clovis, died Monday, May 16, 2005, at her home.

She was born on Jan. 29, 1937, in Tucumcari, to Benito and Josephine Hurtado.

She married Gerald Hadley Spahr Sr. on Sept. 4, 1964, in Clovis. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Dorothy Gay Witt (and husband, Mike Shoman) of Phoenix, Evelyn Diane Lohman (Doyle) of La Porte, Texas, Geraldine Ann Griego of Silver City and Carla Josephine Holt (Jason) of Saint Cloud, Minn.; a son, Gerald Hadley Spahr Jr. (Kathie) of Lubbock; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Father Carlos Chavez will officiate the services.

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

Pallbearers are Gerald Hadley Spahr Jr., Daniel and Gabriel Witt, Joe Baca, Ben Rodriguez, Michael Miller, Mark Cuellar and Jason Holt.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
