April showers are producing some May flowers and grass growth in all the area of South County. It also is triggering a lot of sneezes and coughs because of allergies. The showers that fell recently were surely a boost to the wild life and crops in the area.

There is a lot of little cotton showing a green line down each row. Peanuts and corn should be coming along soon since all the hot days have surely warmed the land up enough to spur growth along.

Memorial Day

This week-end is Memorial Day on Monday, so let’s never forget those dear loved ones who have gone on before us that left us a wonderful heart full of memories and never fail to remember all our troops who have so willingly sacrificed their time and energy and many their lives, that we may enjoy our freedom in America.

Corrie Dillard’s dad had a heart attack Saturday.

Lynn Paul Preuit is progressing slowly and was able to come to visit his dad over the weekend. I don’t know how long before he can come home for good. His wife and baby were there also.
