Gena G. Hendershot 35, of Cheyenne, Wyo., died Saturday, March 5, 2005.
She was born on May 13, 1969, in Clovis.
She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and worked in the toy department at Walmart. Family members said she was an avid outdooorsman and loved life in general.
She was preceeded in death by her mother, Kathy Jean Leslie; grandparents, Donald and Larue Kemp.
Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Hendershot of Cheyenne, Wyo.; her father, Michael Barker, of Phoenix; a son Jared Barker of Cheynne, Wyo.; two daughters, Kaitlin West of Monroe, La.; Sarah Louise Nail of Big Springs, Wyo.; two brothers, Michael Barker of Houston; John D. Leslie of Clovis; a grandmother, Wanda Kitrell of Muleshoe, Texas; an aunt, Karen (and husband, Carl) Payne of Wichita Falls, Texas; two uncles, Terry Dwayne (Mary Lou) Kemp of Portales; and Ronnie (Andy Kay) Kemp of Albuquerque.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
