Juan Bustos, 44, of Clovis, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
Burial will be at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
Services: 9:30 a.m. today at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
Philip E. Crystal, 86, of Hatch, formerly of Clovis, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at Sierra Health Care Center in Truth or Consequences.
He was born on Aug. 28, 1918, in Jamaica, N.Y. to Maurice H. and Eva Cohen Crystal.
He served U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a graduate of Cornell University. He moved to Roswell in 1947, to work as assistant extension agent for Chavez County. He transferred to Clovis in 1948. He retired in 1977. He was a member of the Clovis Kiwanis Club, Western Farm Bureau, Clovis Chamber of Commerce, Zia Chapter American Red Cross, Curry County Civil Defense, Clovis Masonic Lodge, Bi-State Livestock Association, National Association of County Agricultural Agents, New Mexico Bankers Association, American Legion Post #25, VFW and DAV. He officiated for the Clovis Little League, Clovis Babe Ruth League, Mickey Mantle League, High Plains Babe Ruth League, New Mexico High School Officials Association, NM Play, Inc., and the Golden Gloves Boxing. He moved to Hatch in 1998.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel; his parents; a brother, Leon Crystal; and two sisters, Irene Crystal and Mabel Land.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Thorp (and husband, Barry) of Mystic, Conn. and Marcia Nordyke (Judd) of Hatch; a daughter-in-law, Judy Crystal of Woodward, Okla.; three sons, Robert Crystal of Oklahoma, Michael Crystal of Midland, Texas, and Jonathan Crystal (Gloria) of Denver; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Israel and David Crystal; a sister, Helen Glater; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jonathan A. Crystal and the Clovis Masonic Lodge will officiate the services.
Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
