New comers

Some former Causey/Dora folks moved back home from Colorado. Roy, Susan and Sarah Skipworth have recently moved to the Ben Fuller ranch. They lived in the Chapman house north of Dora before moving to Colorado. Sarah has grown up and she says for now she is just helping her dad on the ranch. We welcome them back to the area. Roberta Payne, Susan’s mother, raised her family in Causey before moving to Portales and working in the Baptist Children’s home for several years. They all attended the Baptist Church Sunday for worship. Roberta was a sister of the late Hank Merrick of Causey and their parents moved there from Lamesa years ago.
